Can you tell us what you do and what your role is with the awards?
I’m the Events Content and Speaker Guru. Working across all TRB’s Flagship Conferences, places me in an ideal position to spot and suggest innovative retailer leaders to join the judges’ panel at the awards.

What makes these awards special?
They are totally unique! No other event shines the light on the humble faces behind this exciting and rapidly evolving industry sector.

What is your favourite retail moment, initiative, or innovation?
My first ever job in retail was working for my neighbour, Jean Adderley, in her original Dunelm store in Leicester in 1984. As a retail brand, its transition from humble market stall beginnings to being a household name is pretty inspiring!

If you were a retail brand, what would be your unique selling point?
A practical solution for every occasion.

If you could choose a famous retail mascot or slogan to represent the team who / what would it be and why?
I do love ‘Just do it’ from Nike. Pretty self-explanatory-  the ethos behind this phrase encapsulates the team’s universally concerted approach to our work. It is also a reminder to apply that same principle to everything we do in life!
