
Martin Wildsmith
Martin Wildsmith joined Sue Ryder in June 2020 as Director of Retail and E-commerce, later expanding his role to include responsibility for Health & Safety and Estates in April 2021. He was appointed Chief Commercial Officer in July 2023.
With a strong retail background, Martin has worked across multiple functions in leading national retailers, including Dixons, BHS, and Smythson of Bond Street. Before joining Sue Ryder, he played a key role in driving growth for British luxury brand Smythson. Martin then transitioned to the not-for-profit sector, leading retail teams and strategy at the National Trust and Help for Heroes.
At Sue Ryder, Martin is committed to delivering a retail offering that delights customers, integrates seamlessly with fundraising efforts, and ultimately helps fund more care for more people. His leadership approach emphasizes collaboration and creating a positive, thriving culture for teams.
Martin also serves as a Trustee on the Board of Helen & Douglas House, a position he has held since 2019.
