As COOK’s People Director, Alison Payne is passionate about inclusive policies and structures that facilitate the needs of a fast-paced growing business, with happier people and customers year on year.
Wellbeing (physical, mental and financial) has always been high on the COOK agenda. Alison leads her team to look after everyone in their role and ensure leadership development is a central enabler to everyone’s growth, as COOK continues to grow.
Prior to COOK, she held many operational roles at Tesco Stores Ltd before becoming a Group Personnel Manager for the Tesco Metro format in London.
Alison is also a Trustee for The Island Learning Trust, local to The COOK Kitchens in Sittingbourne, Kent.
