How do I enter?
The 2024 awards are now closed, but entries for 2025 will open in November. To be placed on our waitlist and receive an update before Christmas, please email us, and we’ll ensure you’re first to know when entries open!
What is the dress code for the night?
It’s time to get dapper and glamorous! The event is a ‘Black Tie’ affair, so dust off the tuxedo and slip into your finest gown. We encourage attendees to consider fashion sustainability by upcycling, recycling, opting for pre-loved items, renting, or choosing vintage pieces.
Do I have to pay to submit an entry?
No, entries are completely free!
Can I enter more than one category?
Absolutely! There’s no limit to the number of categories you can enter.
When do entries open?
Entries for The People in Retail Awards 2025 will open in November 2024.
When does judging start?
Judging begins in June.
How are the Awards judged?
Our awards are judged by a panel of independent experts selected for their diverse experiences and skills, ensuring a fair and impartial evaluation. Each category has specific criteria, and the judges use a rubric scoring system to maintain transparency. They also meet in person to discuss and consider qualitative aspects like ‘going the extra mile’ or customer empathy, which might not always be black and white.
How do you ensure the judging process is fair and unbiased?
Our judges adhere to a strict Code of Conduct that includes confidentiality, conflict of interest management, and guidelines for interactions with entrants. To maintain impartiality, judges cannot evaluate entries from their own organisations.
Can I amend my submission after entering?
Yes, you can amend your submission up until the deadline of 11:59 PM GMT (date to be confirmed for 2025). Please contact Natalie directly or email our team at [email protected] to make any changes.
